LEAF works in partnership with the Toronto Hydro Corporation to undertake a yearly Earth Day planting event. Employees and their families come out to help get the job done.

Over four years LEAF, Toronto Hydro Corporation,the Taylor Massey Project, Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation and other corporations along the watershed, have planted over 1000 native trees and shrubs along Taylor Massey Creek in Scarborough. The site, originally running along the back of the Toronto Hydro property, has now extended well beyond and involves other local business partners.
LEAF works with Vision Youth, a local youth leadership group, to organize a maintenance day each summer. Annual weeding, watering and mulching have been essential to the success of this site.

 Over the last two years, LEAF, Toronto Hydro and Toronto Parks, Recreation and Forestry have undetaken planting and clean up projects in Pine Point Park in Etobicoke.  Thousands of trees and shrubs have been planted as a result of the dedicated efforts of Toronto Hydro staff and their families!
