Our Backyard Tree Planting Program offers native trees and shrubs to property owners at a subsidized cost to residents of Toronto. We are also undertaking a pilot project in Markham in 2008, with the support of York Region and the Town of Markham. If you live in Toronto or Markham our program is available to you!

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE STILL BOOKING SPRING CONSULTATOINS BUT DUE TO HIGH DEMAND YOUR TREE PLANTING MAY NOT HAPPEN UNTIL FALL 2008. SHRUB DELIVERIES WILL BE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT MAY.

Our certified arborists assist residents in making educated decisions about the type of tree that suits their property and where it should be planted. Since our first planting season in 1996, over 11,000 native trees and shrubs have been planted throughout Toronto.

At the bottom of this page you will find a pdf copy of our Backyard Planting Program brochure which can be downloaded. It summarizes the program, shows silhouettes of all trees and lists the names of all shrubs we offer. This brochure is excellent for promoting the program to others. Feel free to print your own copies, or contact us if you would like colour copies to distribute.

Also below you will find a summary chart of all shrub species we are offering this spring in pdf format. This chart describes each shrub and its special features. It's great for comparing if you're deciding what to plant.
